YACM STUDENTS PERFORM THROUGHOUT SOLANO COUNTY
YACM students develop confidence by preparing to perform frequently throughout the season. Performances are integral to musical development. Through preparing to perform, young artists develop a sense of personal credibility. They increase important areas focus with high stakes applications, curate critical engagement and reflection, and develop a propensity for refinement. In performance, young artists experience uncontrolled variables that lead to creative challenges and further musical development. Each performance marks a new accomplishment and advances the performers self-confidence.

CORE Arts Students who enroll for a full year, can expect to perform in October, December, March and May.
Little Arts Students may perform with instructor and parent permission.
Students may perform in ensembles and as soloists as their qualifications allow.

The Performance "On-Stage" Groups listed below are stand-alone troupes outside of the CORE-Arts and Little Arts curriculum.
AGES 7-21
SYT celebrates the excellence in youth by committing in high production value musicals and plays. Solano Youth Theatre offers musicals and plays for children and young adults throughout the year. We are a warm and welcoming community of families, actors, directors, designers, coaches and supporters who encourage excellence in youth theatre. SYT cannot be included in PRO-Arts bundle.

"SYCO" by AUDITION
SYCO is Solano's celebrated first community youth orchestra dedicated to challenging repertoire that inspires advancing musicians. SYCO is open to students learning strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion who wish to advance their ensemble skills and add to their repertoire. SYCO can be bundled in PRO-Arts

Join the fun with this entry-level chorus. Participants ages 7 andU up will sing at Halloween, the City Tree Lighting and the Holiday Harmonies Christmas Festival. Rehearsals start October 2 for the 2023 Season.

BEGINNING AND ADVANCED
Performing in a band is fun and improves musicianship. TnT Rock Band and Smolder Jazz Band teach skills associated the contemporary music including improvisation, soloing, arranging, and stage presence. YACM Rock and Jazz Bands are open to instrumentalists and vocalists. These bands perform seasonally at community events and YACM concerts. ​These bands can be bundled in a PRO-Arts membership.
